My name is Bárbara, I'm 32 years old, I'm Argentinian and currently living in Florianópolis, Brazil. I got a degree in Law in Argentina, but I've worked as an English and Spanish teacher for the first 2 years in Brazil. Now, I work as an administrative assistant in the Consulate of Argentina.
I'm beginning my career as a freelance translator because I've found my passion in this; I love languages and to explore their infinite possibilities.
I enjoy translating legal texts, contracts; I also like to work with cooking recipes, with movies/series texts or even subtitles sometimes.
But I find my strongest passion in books. I love reading books, and I discovered that I much enjoy working on them, seeing how many ways exist of saying something, and discovering words that only exist in that specific idiom.
I'm only starting in the translation world but I know I've got a lot to give to it.
